Summer Polka at Ontario Place!

Dear Toronto dancers, folk music lovers and friends! 

We would like to invite you to the Summer Polka at Ontario Place - Eastern European social folk dancing.
This Summer Polka event is part of the Heritage Ontario Festival, happening at Ontario Place during Canada Day weekend! 

Live music and dance workshop provided by Polky Village Band.

What: Eastern European social folk dancing - couple and line traditional dances with live music. No dance experience necessary! 
Where: Heritage Ontario Festival, the Main Stage. 
Date: July, 3rd, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Who can participate: families, kids, couples, all ages welcome! 
Free admission :)

Polky Village Band performs traditional Polish folk songs and dances spanning different regions and rituals. 
Most of their repertoire is comprised of music that singer Ewelina Ferenc learned while growing up in Poland. 
Together with Canadian musicians playing the tunes on traditional Polish instruments and by teaching simple dance steps, 
Polky Village Band moves even those with two left feet to dance. 

The Heritage Ontario Festival lets you delve into our past and gaze into our future. This free admission 4-day Ontario150 festival will celebrate Ontario’s vast multicultural history with lots of activities, entertainment, food and drink. Join us and show off your provincial pride!
